The WNC Chapter will host its meeting on December 17th at 8:30 AM at the Cornerstone Restaurant on Tunnel Road in Asheville. Guest speaker Ric Ledford, a senior plan reviewer with the City of Asheville for over 21 years, will present on FEMA rules and appraisal considerations related to recent flooding from Hurricane Helene. As a Certified Floodplain Manager, Ledford will provide insights into stormwater, grading, and erosion control plan reviews, focusing on appraisal requirements for properties before and after flood events. All are welcome to attend this informative session.
