Itinerary:

  • 6:00 PM – Featured Speaker: Vic Isley
    Kick off the evening with an engaging presentation from Vic Isley, President & CEO of Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority. She will explore the many wonders of Asheville and highlight how communities like Asheville benefit economically from exploration and travel.
  • 6:30 PM – Chapter Business Meeting
    Immediately following the presentation, the meeting will take place in the French Broad Conference Center of Embassy Suites. You'll hear important updates about the Chapter’s plans and initiatives for the months ahead.

Vic Isley brings over 29 years of leadership in destination marketing. As the President & CEO of Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, Vic is passionate about the economic and emotional rewards of travel.

Throughout her career, she has represented destinations including Bermuda, Washington, DC, Tampa Bay, and Durham, and played a key role in major initiatives such as the 9/11 recovery efforts and promoting landmark events like Super Bowl XXXV and the Men’s NCAA Final Four.

Vic has been recognized as one of HSMAI’s Top 25 Minds in Hospitality & Travel Sales Marketing and named one of North Carolina’s Most Influential Leaders by Business NC magazine. She has also served as COO for Destinations International and is a committed board member of several prominent organizations, including the United States Travel Association and the Asheville Buncombe Technical College Foundation.

A proud UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, Vic is a passionate traveler, foodie, music lover, and a proud farm girl from rural North Carolina.

Registration

The cost to register is $35 per person (member/non-member) for registration received by September 10th. After 9/10, the cost to register increases by $5.
