The window is closing fast for applications for this year’s scholarship money from the North Carolina Chapter. The deadline is February 22, 2026.
This is a great opportunity to further your professional development on someone else’s dime.Last year, everyone received full tuition for their respective classes.
Instead of talking about the benefits myself, look at what recent award winners have expressed.
David Ivey, MAI out of Fayetteville
I was fortunate enough to receive 2 scholarships from the North Carolina Chapter while I was a Candidate for Designation. The first award was for Advanced Capitalization in 2022 and the second was for the General Demonstration Report-Capstone Program in 2025. These two fully paid scholarships were instrumental at the beginning and at the very end with the final requirement toward my designation.

I am very fortunate and thankful to have received several scholarships from NCAI. Not only has it allowed me to take quality classes, but it significantly reduced the financial burden that comes along with completing qualification courses. The process of applying for scholarships has been very simple and straightforward, and the response to my scholarship application has always been timely. I am proud to be a member of NCAI because it has truly been a help for in my appraisal career.
Stacy Jones out of High Point
Receiving the NCAI Chapter Scholarship had a meaningful impact on my professional growth. I used the scholarship to take a required course as part of my path toward becoming a Certified General Appraiser. The course strengthened my technical knowledge, increased my confidence, and helped me move one step closer to achieving my certification goals. The application process was simple and the financial support was a valuable investment in my continued professional development. I am grateful for the chapter’s commitment to supporting appraisers and encourage other to apply.
Lindsay Green out of Asheville
The scholarship support I have received as a trainee from the NC Chapter has helped me complete 3 required classes that would have otherwise been a financial stretch. It eased the pressure during a demanding stage of training and allowed me to focus on learning and building a solid foundation for my appraisal career.
If there is one regret that I have looking back into my past education path, it is that I never bothered to apply for a NCAI Scholarship. I figured hundreds of people apply every year and only one person wins the scholarship and the application process would require a kidney. Sitting on the Scholarship committee, I now know the application and process is easy and there is a high chance of getting free money toward my course.
Do not let this opportunity slip by another year, apply today!
Sincerely,
Richard D. Earley, MAI
