The North Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute (NCAI) was established on January 1, 1993. Our Chapter is a statewide chapter, one of only 23 statewide chapters of the 99 Chapters in the U.S.and Puerto Rico, but not including Canada. NCAI was formed from the mergers of Chapter 40 of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and the four North Carolina chapters of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. The current Chapter membership is 651 members.
